Donald Trump frequently employs apophasis.  In 2015, Trump said of fellow Republican presidential candidate and former Hewlett-Packard CEO Carly Fiorina , "I promised I would not say that she ran Hewlett-Packard into the ground, that she laid off tens of thousands of people and she got viciously fired. I said I will not say it, so I will not say it."  In 2016, he tweeted of journalist Megyn Kelly , “I refuse to call [her] a bimbo, because that would not be politically correct."  In 2017, as president , he tweeted of the leader of North Korea , "Why would Kim Jong-un insult me by calling me 'old,' when I would NEVER call him 'short and fat?'"

There are instances whereby you are analyzing a topic or subject whose study was incomplete or requires further research. In such a case, you should clearly tell readers about some of the expectations that they should have regarding the subject of your analysis.
